A Message From The Author

As someone who has spent many years working in the community and connecting with people of all ages, I have seen how words can impact a person's confidence and self-worth.

I created Luke & Lucie because I wanted children to know that they are valuable exactly as they are. Too many children struggle with feeling different, left out, or not good enough.

This book was written to remind them that their differences are not weaknesses—they are gifts.

My hope is that every child who reads this story will walk away feeling encouraged, accepted, and proud of who they are.
